​Unique Community

Following 2 years working with the company as Musical Director, I Joined Unique Community as Community Outreach Manager, focusing on the local relationships and management of staff on various projects.

February:
Scratch Night Pending 

In February I produced the latest iteration of Car Crash Productions yearly scratch night to develop new writers and new performers, Scratch Night Pending.  I also directed one of the pieces in it, about Larry the Downing Street Cat.

March:
​She/Her

In March I return to producing and programming She/Her, and event focused around female identifying artists and international women's day.  This included a Live Event in Glasgow in aid of Glasgow Women's Aid.

April
​Six: Teen Edition

In April, I went back to my roots of working with a youth theatre group (Stage Door Theatre School in Chryston, Scotland) with my company Car Crash Productions, to produce a youth version of the hit show Six.

June:
Wandsworth Fringe

In June, I worked as an Associate Producer for Wandsworth Arts Fringe, running The Arches at St Mary's.  Our programming focused on LGBTQ+ and Women's themes, from theatre to cabaret and comedy to children's theatre.  (Pictured are an audience at one of the shows and Drag Story Hour with Drag Artist BEV).

June:
Midsummer Night's Rave

Throughout June I worked to re-stage my previous production of Midsummer Nights Rave.  This new immersive production in the Arches under putney bridge, was the first produced by new LGBTQ+ company Shakesqueer and featured a live mix from a DJ in the space..

June:
Diva

Originally due to be stage at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2020, DIVA, a show that examines appropriation, Gender Politics and Feminism in 2024.  Set to the most incredible soundtrack of DIVA hits from the last 70 years, it was presented by Car Crash Productions as part of Pride Month for 2024.

June: Double Bill

Following the Scratch Night earlier this year, I produced a double bill of new Writing from up and coming writer Poppy Brian-Boys.  A work in progress of 'Places We Won't Walk', which was part of the Scratch Night in February and 'The Kearns' a new film by Mieshu, co-written by Poppy Brian-Boys.  Both were presented to a sell out crowd.

July: Multi-Story & ​The Big Changeover

Earlier in the year I worked alongside 2 groups of Youngsters from Brent, writing the music for their new musicals focused around identity and labels.

July: Trojan Barbie

In July I'm working with the Young Actors Theatre Islington (YATI) as Stage Manager on their students final production, a new production of Trojan Barbie.

July - September: Underbelly Festival

Throughout summer I worked as Venue Stage Manager and Technical Manager at the Underbelly Festival in Cavendish Square​.  

Form July to September we have 18 different shows running at the space.  Form family shows, to circus and comedy it's a great mix of stuff to work on.

August - December: 1984

From August until the end of the year I returned to work as Technical Stage Manager on 1984, in a new iteration of the site specific show at Hackney Town Hall.  On a day to day basis I lead on the technical equipment in the building as well as oping the sound for the show.
